Christmas Musical: “For Unto Y’all”

Just about everybody has heard the Christmas story at some point in their life.  In fact it has become so familiar that we tend to think God’s miracles are confined to some faraway place in the long distant past.

But did you ever wonder how the story would have been told if it had taken place in the New Mexico Territory in the 1800’s?  That’s the setting for the Christmas Musical entitled, “For Unto Y’all”  to be presented Friday, December 11th and Sunday, December 13th at 6:00 pm at the First Baptist Church at the corner of 3rd and Rio Grande in Raton.

It is a light-hearted look with a life-changing message, complete with all the trappings of the Old West, including a hoedown, a saloon in a dusty cattle town, and cowboys on the range–and don’t forget the masked man on a white horse.

Admission is free and there will be refreshments following  both performances.  So round up your posse and “Y’all Come!”
