Mind In The Making: 7 Essential Skills Session

University of New Mexico Family Development Program and GrowRaton invite all Raton community members to attend training sessions for Mind In The Making: 7 Essential Skills Series. Sessions will be held at the Raton Convention Center and are open to all Community Members: Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, Health Care Providers, Librarians, Home Care Providers, Teens, Faith Organizations, Home Visitors, Police/Fire Officers and other Important Adults in a Child’s Life. Engaging, Interactive, and Fun!
Mind in the Making is a comprehensive learning opportunity based on the science of how young children learn. Each session introduces essential life skills and how to promote them in children.
- All sessions include hands-on activities, interactive exercises, discussions and short videos introducing current research.
- Offers common understanding to build community capacity in supporting the well-being of children in Raton.
- Participants will receive participation certificates and lunch will be provided.
