“Udall Serving YoU” Office Hours in Raton

Staff members from  U.S. Tom Udall’s office will host an upcoming Udall Serving YoU  Office Hours in Raton on Thursday, August 20th from 9 am until 10:30 am at the Raton City Commission Chambers (224 Savage Avenue).

If you’re having problems with a federal agency, Udall Serving YoU open office hours are an opportunity to meet with representatives/staff from U.S. Tom Udall’s office to receive help with issues related to federal agencies.

There are hundreds of different agencies within the federal government, and the public can find more about the sorts of issues that can be addressed at the link:  Help with Federal Agencies.

Some of the areas Udall staff can help YoU with include:

Veterans: Veterans’ benefits, eligibility determinations, VA home loans, and replacements of medals earned.

Social Security: Social Security benefits and eligibility, missing checks.

Students:  Nominations to the U.S. Military Service Academies.

Immigration: Assistance with naturalization applications, immigrant petitions for relatives and adjustment of status applications that are delayed or lost.

Housing: Problems with housing vouchers, federal loan programs and HUD.

Passports: Obtaining an emergency passport, help with a lost passport and overseas travel restrictions.
