“Child Find” Event – Raton

Child Find is a free screening for children ages birth to five years old.

For those attending Head Start – Raton’s Child Find event will take place on March 3rd, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School.

For those children not attending Head Start, Raton’s Child Find event will take place on March 4th and 5th, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School. 

Screening target areas include: vision, hearing, learning, speech and language, as well as fine and gross motor skills.  

Parents may also register children for Kindergarten on March 4th and 5th, but must bring the child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and Social Security Card.
