Corina T. Martinez age 85 of Raton passed away on August 30, 2013. She was born on October 12, 1927 in Capulin, New Mexico to Miguel and Suzanna Duran Cruz.
Corina was a member of St. Patrick’s/ St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Corina was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Don Juan Martinez, daughters Donna Smith of San Antonio, TX, and Diana Stevens of Las Vegas, NV, sons Danny Martinez and wife Gregoria of Chama, NM, Michael Martinez and wife Janet of Raton, NM, Lt Col Patrick Martinez and wife Nicole of Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA, sisters Francis Freelot, Margaret Martinez, Florence Martinez, Vickie Montoya, brothers Bernard Cruz, and Pete Cruz
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Monday September 2, 2013 at 9:00am at St. Patrick’s/ St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 9:30am with Father John Trambley as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
