Beatrice Baca, beloved mother of Donald, Kathleen, and Georgina Baca, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, in Seattle, Washington, where she had lived for the past ten years.

She was born on March 13, 1926, in Gardiner, New Mexico, and lived in Ratón, New Mexico, before moving to Seattle to be closer to her children, who were always at the heart of her life.

Beatrice lived life to the fullest. She loved taking road trips, visiting casinos, watching Novelas, listening to music, and getting lost in a good book. She cherished time with her family and was never far from her children. Her love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Baca; her parents, Teofila and Miguel Sanchez; her brothers, Rudolfo and Louie Sanchez; and her sisters, Tillie Grano and Teresa Lucero.

She will be deeply missed by her children, family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to share her life.

A memorial service will be held on September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton, New Mexico.
