Eddie Joe Duran was born on January 5, 1960. He departed this Earth on July 13, 2026, making his way to Heaven.
Eddie was a very kindhearted person with an infectious personality. This drew people to him, blessing him with many friends.
Eddie’s passion was for the great outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, playing golf, shooting guns, and filming wildlife. He also loved to throw a good BBQ.
Eddie is preceded in death by his mother Sadie, Grandparents Facundo and Lazarita Duran, Abren and Sophia Mondragon, various uncles, aunts and cousins. His godson Cody Leal. And his dog Boozer.
Eddie is survived by his father Freddy, sister and brother-in-law Juanita and Blaine, brother Fernando, nephews Stephen Duran and Stefon Sparks, aunts Mary jane Rivera, Virginia Lopez and Mary Pacheco, One uncle Arthur Guara, best friends Carl Unger and Noby Gomez, special cousin Pat Duran, various cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on October 3, 2026 at the Raton Country Club Golf Course at 1 pm until 3:30 pm. BBQ will be served. Please bring your funny Eddie stories to share with all.
