Around 8:00 p.m. Raton PD, Colfax County SO and New Mexico State Police responded to a call of shots fired with the situation turning into an active shooter incident.
The incident took place in the area of East 3rd Ave and East 7th Street in east Raton.
One suspect was taken into custody around 8:40 p.m. The suspect was transported to MCMC by Raton Fire and Emergency Services.
