In Loving Memory of Riena L. Cordova

Riena L. Cordova, died unexpectedly on May 14, 2023, at home.  She was born on August 30, 2005, in Pueblo, Colorado.  She is the daughter of Tomasita Ronquillo-Gillette and John Cordova.

She attended Goal Academy High School in Aurora, Colorado where she was working toward graduating early. Once she graduated, she was planning to travel and see the world.  She worked at New Horizon Academy in Centennial Colorado as a Teachers Aid.

Riena loved spending time with the ones she held dear to her heart.  She loved staying in and watching movies with her mom and brothers.  She loved doing anything artsy and practicing her makeup

skills.  Riena will be remembered greatly by her contagious laugh and beautiful smile.  When she laughed, she got a spark in her eye that would just brighten up your day.

She loved her family big, and they loved her back the same way. Most of all she loved spending time with her brothers.

She is survived by her Brothers John and Isiah Cordova, Aunts Crystal Arellano, Valentina Lopez, Jamie Trujillo, Ashley Cordova, Krystyn Cordova, Amye Ronquillo, and Ryan Trujillo; Uncles, Juan Gillette, and Jesus Cordova; Grandparents Josephine and Gilbert Ronquillo; Great Grandmother Louise Garcia and numerous cousins, great-aunts, friends, and family.

She was proceeded in death by her Great-Grandpo Tom Garcia, Grandmothers Laura Garcia and Rose Quintana.

Pallbearers are Joseph Trujillo, Tomas Montoya, Kadan Criswell, Alexander Black, Juan Gillette, and Kayla Gutierrez.  Honorary Pallbearers are John Cordova and Isiah Cordova.

The family of Riena has announced that arrangements are private

and there will be no public viewing or services available
