New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps Announces the 2021 Request for
Proposals Posted
Santa Fe – The New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps announces that the Request for
Proposals (RFP) for the year 2021 has been posted on the State Purchasing Division’s website at
https://www.generalservices.state.nm.us/statepurchasing/active-procurements.aspx. The RFP
will be open through December 1, 2020. Proposals must be submitted electronically on the State
Purchasing Division’s website.
YCC grants are open to federally recognized sovereign tribal governments, state agencies, local
government agencies or units, federal agencies operating within the state, and non-profit
organizations with a 501(c) IRS designation.
“YCC grants have a positive economic and social impact on communities,” Executive Director
Sarah Wood said, “and we encourage eligible entities to apply.”
Since 1992, the YCC has been awarding grants to agencies and organizations throughout New
Mexico to carry out improvements on public lands and facilities in their community. Hundreds
of youth ages 14 to 25 have been hired and trained through the program.
