As America’s Diner, the health, and safety of our guests, employees and the communities we serve is always our top priority.

In an effort to manage the evolving impact of Coronavirus/COVID-19 in our communities, we are willingly adhering to all city and state regulations that require the closure of our dine-in facilities, and in some states reducing the number of guests in our dining rooms to allow for a heightened focus on social distancing.

While in many states we continue to be open and available to provide a safe experience for each of our guests, if you are unable to join us in our dining rooms, we have also enhanced our focus on pickup and delivery through our Denny’s on Demand platform.

As a result, to meet the needs of our guests seeking at-home options in the current uncertain environment, we are now Waiving all Delivery Fees starting today until April 12th. This free delivery is available by simply ordering online at dennys.com.

I also wanted to reinforce that in addition to our strong routine cleaning and sanitation standards that have always met or surpassed all CDC guidelines, we have recently enhanced our procedures across the country to include:

  • Eliminating all condiments, silverware, and placemats from each table
  • Cleaning chairs, tables, hi-chairs, and condiment containers after each guest
  • Cleaning critical high touch areas in dining rooms and restrooms every 30 minutes
  • Requiring every employee to wash their hands every 20 minutes with soap and water then apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

To our guests in our communities across the country, we thank you for your patronage and your care for one another, and we thank each and every one of our franchisees and our team members in each and every one of our restaurants. Above all else, we at Denny’s hope that you are safe and healthy and urge you to continue following all available guidelines. While this situation is a challenge for you, your families and to our communities, we look forward to playing our small part in feeding you and your family in any way possible.
