In Loving Memory of Jennie N. Trujillo

Jennie N. Trujillo, our beloved friend, entered into the Lord’s heavenly care onMarch 2, 2016.  She was born in Aguilar, CO on August 6, 1941.

Shortly after she graduated she entered the workforce and worked for a few years as a waitress for the El Paso Café, Jennie then ventured over to work at Bea’s Café. She also worked at the Savoy Café and then soon returned and remained loyal and dedicated as a waitress for the El Paso Café for the entire life of the business. She was an important piece of the life and success of the El Paso Café for approximately 30 years. Jennie then worked as a housekeeper at the Trinidad Motor Inn and then ventured off as an employee for the Council of Governments as a home health care provider. She was without a doubt the sparkle in the service industry.

Jennie  and puppyJennie had a love for all living creatures; she would dedicate her time and money in making sure all animals that crossed her path were taken care of in a loving manner. She cherished every picture, holiday, thank you and graduation name cards she received and created scrap books and photo albums full of memories.

Preceding her in death are parents Salome Trujillo and Lucy C. Trujillo, brother Fred Lee Trujillo, uncle Jose Trujillo and best friend and pet, Cricket.

She is survived by friends Helen Collins, Sally Brezel, Sara Atencio, Linda Ariza, Liz Moore, Lisa Velarde, Margie Rivale, Connie Rivale-Peraza, Hector Peraza, Crystal Sutton, Deserae Escalera Gabriela, Santiago Peraza and special friend Pennie Magana.

 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 with Rosary at Noon at the Comi Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 1PM at Sebastiani Gym.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
