The Raton 8-10 Year-old All Stars are the undefeated champions of the District 4 Little League Tournament held this week in Las Vegas.
Raton began the tournament on Saturday, June 24 with a 13-0 shutout of La Plaza, and followed it on Monday with a 14-10 win over Las Vegas. Then after Vegas earned a return shot at Raton on Tuesday, Raton clawed their way back from behind to hoist the banner with a 9-8 victory and with the win will advance to the State Tournament July 15 – 22.
Raton’s 8-10 year old District 4 Champion All-Star Team includes Marciano Bacca; Gage Bone; Ivan Bone; Titus Cordova; Reid Elliott; Liam Garrett; Elias Jackson; Darrion Martinez; Johnny Ray Pacheco; Jeohni Saenz; Liam Sandoval, and Ryan Valdez.
The All-Stars are coached by Brandon Albreski; RJ Valdez and Mike Garrett.
