In Loving Memory of Kenneth Patrick Espinoza

Kenneth Patrick Espinoza, or “Kenny” as he was fondly known by his family, died unexpectedly on December 16, 2016 in Springer, New Mexico at the age of 53.

He was born on November 12, 1963 in Cimarron, New Mexico to Casey and Carmen Espinoza. He spent most of his childhood years in Cimarron. As an adult he lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming where he was a jack of all trades. He worked for a plumbing company, moved trailer homes, worked at the oil fields, as well as other odd jobs. He later returned to Springer, New Mexico where he helped family and friends.

Ken was great with his hands. His favorite pastime was to build crosses and elaborate churches out of sticks and cardboard, and would give them to people as his way of passing along the Word of God. He had an amazing love for children and animals, especially his beloved pets Pepe and Blue. Ken was always willing to help those in need, whether it be something to eat or a good laugh after a bad day.

He is preceded in death by his father, Casey Espinoza, all of his brothers: Casey Lee Espinoza, Trini Espinoza, Norman Espinoza, Clifford Espinoza, Aaron Espinoza; maternal grandparents Martha and Al Collier; paternal grandparents Casey and Magdalena Espinoza; and his uncle Larry Espinoza.

He is survived by his mother Carmen Espinoza of French Tract; Sisters Martha Caro of Springer, NM, Robin Olivas of Brighton, CO; his special nephew Mario Caro; nieces Eva Takashima, Amber Caro; nephew Jesse Espinoza; and close friends Madeline and Richard Bell of Springer; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Services will be held at a later date.
