In Loving Memory of Nancy V. Angely Maldonado

Nancy V. Angely Maldonado, age 70, passed away on August 8, 2016 in Raton.

 

She is survived by her husband Franklin Maldonado of the family home in Raton, sister Irene Marquez and husband Richard, brother Fermin Casias and wife JoAnn all of Raton. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and 48 God Children all survive.

 

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Angley, mother Annie Casias, step-father Joe Casias. Adopted parents Samuel Vigil, Francisca Torres-De-Torres.

 

She was a member of St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, past member of Carmelita’s, Legion of Mary. She graduated from Raton High School in 1964, was a remedial teacher at Raton Junior High School, teacher’s aide at Longfellow School and taught religious education for 25 years.
Visitations for Nancy V. Angely Maldonado will take place August 10th, 2016 at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

 

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10:00 am recited by the Legion of Mary. Solemn Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 am with Father Bill Wytovith as the celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.

 

Funeral arrangements for Nancy V. Angely Maldonado are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.

 

The family of Nancy Maldonado, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of love, support and compassion from family and friends during this difficult time of sorrow. Thank you for the food, cards, flowers and visits. Special thanks to hair stylist Bonnie Apache, the Amber Care Staff Sandy Casias and Monique Barela, the Amber Care Hospice nurses Connie Shields, Robin Pilley and Angela Fleming for the wonderful care given Nancy.
Also thanks to Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home Staff for their professional assistance during this difficult time.

    I am so sad to hear of Nancy’s passing. She was a very good woman.
    I enjoyed being classmates with her so much. My heartfelt condolences
    to her loved ones.
