Carol Ann Archer, passed away on April 21, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was 56.
She was born in Raton, NM, the daughter of Rita (Bueno) and Gilbert Mares.
She was a 1976 Trinidad High School graduate. Carol worked as a cardiac technician in the New Mexico and Arizona areas.
The loves of her life was her children, grandchildren and her dog Mitzi.
Preceding her in death are parents Rita and Gilbert, husband Robert Archer and brother Gilbert Mares.
Left to cherish her memory are children Christina Ortega, Melissa Ortega, Steven Mares all of Trinidad, sisters Joyce (Anthony) Archuleta, AZ, Debbie (Dan) Guevin, Grand Junction, brother Richard Mares, Trinidad, grandchildren, Russell, Mark, Jonathan, April, Alessa and Antonio, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.

I only met Carol a few times when I came to New Mexico with her sister, Debbie. Each time she had a smile and a new joke with which to greet Debbie. Just like Debbie, Carol made sure people felt welcomed and because of that, those trips are memories I will hold dear.
