In Loving Memory of Beatrice T. Baca

Beatrice T. Baca age 83 passed away on April 12, 2014 in Raton, New Mexico. She was born on December 6, 1930 in Chico, New Mexico to Pablo and Andelecia Salas Trujillo.

Beatrice married her husband Celso Baca in 1950 and were married for 63 beautiful years. They loved to read the bible daily and she continued after his passing. And when her children would stay with her she would read the scriptures to them. Her favorite chapter in the bible was Psalm 119.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She truly fit Proverbs 31 as a woman of Elohim (God). She was a great prayer intercessor. Her days started out in prayer and ended in prayer. She constantly prayed for her family and friends. She was always thankful to Jesus for everything in her life.

Beatrice and Celso had six children, Sally, Christine, Johnny, Cleo, Patrick, and Kathy. She also had seven brothers and sisters, Alice, Joe, Faye, Mary Ruben, Maggie and Estevan. Beatrice had seventeen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. Our mom had no favorites when it came to her children and loved us all equally. She was a wonderful grandmother and loved it when they would come and stay with her. She enjoyed her grandchildren and was happy when her granddaughter Melissa brought the babies to visit.

Beatrice loved working on her crossword puzzles, knitting, and crocheting she loved her houseplants loved flowers and her birds. She and Celso loved being together outdoors. They loved fishing, sitting on their porch drinking coffee and enjoying the weather. When they could they loved taking walks and rides into the mountains.

Beatrice missed Celso extremely after he passed away three and a half months ago. She longed for him and spoke of him daily. She would mention to those who would visit that she would dream almost nightly of Celso calling for her.

Beatrice is now happy with Jesus and Celso. We as her children are grateful and blessed to have had her as our mother. The rest of her family as well were blessed to have been a part of her life.

Funeral services for Beatrice Baca will be held on Monday April 14, 2014 in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Beatrice was loved and will be missed by all. We will never forget you mom. You will always be part of our lives.
