In loving Memory of Florence Martinez

Florence Martinez, age 81, passed away at home on July 8, 2025, where she was lovingly cared for by her daughter Monique. She was born on June 11, 1944 in Gulnare, CO. Flo, as everyone called her, or Grandma Flo, was a little spitfire. She enjoyed being outdoors – hunting, fishing and loving every day! She was a social bug and enjoyed country music and dances and of course spending time with friends and family at the ranch. Flo will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death include her parents Albert and Matilda Mestas; brothers Robert Mestas, Ernest Mestas and Albert Mestas; grandson Ashtan Wallace and dear friend Jim Tokar. Survivors include her children Nicole (Drew) Wallace, Sherie Lynn Leuchte and Monique Leuchte; grandchildren Sidney (Derek) Ripley, Emily Wallace, Desmond Vigil and Layla Vigil; great grandchildren Haedyn Wallace, Tatum Wallace and Luke Ripley; brother Gary Mestas and niece, Janell Mestas. At Flo’s request, cremation with a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home
