Roger Vigil passed away at home on March 20th at the age of 93. He was born in Trinidad Co. On May 22, 1931 to Matt Vigil & Josephine Passarelli. He Graduated From Primero High School in 1951 then enlisted in to the Navy serving four years and receiving many awards, after returning home he attended Trinidad State Junior College. He had many jobs in his life. He took pride in everything he did, his home and yard. He also did carpenter work which he really enjoyed and was very good at. He liked to watch any type of sports on TV and enjoyed taking his daily rides through town.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen and many aunts and uncles, and cousins. He is survived by His Sister Elaine (Gene) Chavez, Nephew Vernon Chavez (Jackie) Nieces Gaylene Chavez, Sherry (Chad) Hinchley. Great Nieces Haley & Hannah Chavez and Mikayla Hinchley. Great Nephew Matthew Hinchley and many cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 27th from 10:00 till 12:00 at Comi Funeral Home. With a Military Service Interment will be private at a later date at the Trinidad Catholic Crematory.
