Oliver Raymond Baca passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Colorado Springs,
Colorado, at the age of 82. Born on February 9, 1943, in Trinidad, Colorado, he was the
beloved son of Amador and Rose Baca.
Raymond was a devoted father to his daughter, Sandra Baca, and was preceded in death by
his son, Raymond Amador Baca. He was a cherished grandfather to Brandon, David
(Desirae), and Savannah, and a proud great-grandfather to Travis, Kingsley, Kylie, and
Benjamin. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Joe, Julia, Christine, and Evelyn (Leroy),
all of whom he held close to his heart.
Known for his humor, humility, and unwavering kindness, Raymond was deeply connected to
his family, friends, and community. He embraced life with warmth and generosity, touching
the lives of many. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and
forgiveness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Raymond’s life will be held on April 5, 2025, at
10:00 AM at First Pentecostal Church, 10375 Santa Fe Trail Drive, Trinidad, CO 81082.
