Angelina Emelia (Ulibarri) Gonzales (July 28, 1935 – February 23, 2025).

A lifelong resident of Raton, NM resident Angelina Emelia Gonzales, 89, passed peacefully on February 23, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5th at St. Patrick-St Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Frank Cimino.  The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Father Bill Woytavich as the celebrant.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Angelina was born in Van Houten, NM on July 28, 1935, to Matias and Florencia Ulibarri.  She devoted her life to her family and was a proud member of the legal secretary profession where she used her bilingual and administrative talents.

She married Tony Gonzales April 14, 1956 with whom she had three children: Steve, Jane and Daniel.  They were joined together by their faith in God and shared 69 years of unconditional love and devotion.

Angelina was preceded in death by her parents, Matias and Florencia Ulibarri, sister Lucille Salazar, sister and brother-in-law Clorinda and Alfonso Gonzales, sister and brother in laws, Lala and Ignacio Bernal, Ramona Gonzales, Tessie Gonzales and nephew Gary Salazar.

Survivors include her husband Tony Gonzales, son Steve (Jean) Gonzales, daughter Jane (Randy) Gonzales/Young, son Daniel Gonzales, brother Joe (Rosa) Ulibarri, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Julie and Bobby Valerio, granddaughter Rebecca Scott, grandson Antonio Gonzales, great granddaughter Elena Scott, nephews/nieces, Robert Gonzales, Carol Waldman, Michael Salazar, Robert Valerio and Michelle Portillo.

Arrangements for Angelina Gonzales are under the direction of Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
