In Loving Memory of Jeremy Bernard Montoya

Jeremy Bernard Montoya, aged 42, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. His family is
deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden and unexpected death. Jeremy was born on
August 19, 1982, to Linda and Bernard Montoya in Trinidad, CO.
He was a graduate of Primero High School and had many talents in construction and carpentry
He had a huge heart and loved animals and people. He was known to help any person or
creature, at any time. However, he never asked for anything from anyone for himself.
Although Jeremy’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to
live and shine in our hearts. May his memory be a blessing and provide us with warmth and
comfort in his absence. Those who knew Jeremy will remember him for his kindness,
intelligence, and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda, with whom he is now reunited in Heaven. He
leaves behind his loving father, Bernard; brothers, Anthony, David, Don, and Jarrod, and sister
Mechelle; plus, several nieces and nephews.
ViewingA/visitation for the public will be from 3 PM to 6 PtVl Thursday, February 20, 2025, at
Comi Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic
Church. Motorcade will proceed from the church to the Burial at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Lunch will be provided to the public at La Casa in Jansen immediately following the burial
in Jeremy’s honor.
Pallbearers will be his brothers Anthony, Dave, and Don; close friend Joe Rail; cousin Erik; and
cousin LilJoe.
