In Loving Memory of Joseph Costa

Joseph Costa, 74, entered eternal life on April 19, 2024.  He was born on January 17, 1950, to Joe and Mary Ann Costa.  As a young boy, Joseph worked with his uncles at Cartelli Brothers hauling produce.  He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1968 and Adam St. College in 1972.  He married his wife, Anita, in 1978.

Joseph worked alongside his father, mother, brother, Dan, and sister, Camilla, at Costa Freight Lines for over 20 years.  He stepped away from the business to work on Costa Stonewall Ranch with his wife and children, where he established a guest ranch, ran a cow operation, and hunted with many friends and family.  Later in life while working on the ranch with his sons, Joseph also served on the San Isabel Electric board for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Anita, sons, Gregory, Peter (Chase), and Paul (Bethani) and his daughter Maria (Lane) Quinnell, grandchildren Kacey May & James Costa, and Olivia, Andrew, Isabel, Isaac & Eleanor Quinnell.  Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on the ranch with his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Holy Trinity Church Restoration Fund.

The family respectfully requests privacy during this most difficult time

before and after the funeral.  They wish to express their gratitude to everyone for their kindness and concern.
