NM Governor Grisham/USDA Deputy Sec. Torres Small Set to Visit Mora on 2nd Anniversary of Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire

NM Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and USDA Deputy Secretary Xochitl Torres Small will join state and local leaders in Mora on Tuesday, April 16 to honor the second anniversary of the Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon fire.

What: “Regenerating Forests, Rebuilding Community” will acknowledge the difficult recovery from the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Fire on the 2-year anniversary and announce USDA and state funding towards construction of the New Mexico Reforestation Center and rehabilitation of both land and local economy.
