Sandra Jean Garcia

Sandra Jean Garcia, age 76, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at her home on the Garcia Ranch.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Clayton Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clayton.
Sandra was born in Tacoma Park, MD and lived in many places, spending a lot of time with the Cookes in Battle Creek, Michigan. She went to an Adventist academy in Yonkers, NY and got her Registered Nurse License from Loma Linda University, California. She was partnered with James Wernicke and lived in Louisiana for nearly a decade and gave birth to their son, Jacob Wernicke. She married John Garcia in 1993. Sandra was a lifelong and devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church with a true passion to spread the word of God. She is survived by her son, Jacob Wernicke; her stepsons, James Wernicke, Jr. and Wesley Garcia; and stepdaughters Johnna Anne and Shadiin Garcia, and her grandchildren, Brayden, Draycen, Bryce, Isaiah, Gabriel, Sunny, Katlian, and Evan
