Wilfred Lloyd Carrasco, age 86, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, a former resident of Raton and Socorro, NM passed away on December 25, 2023.
Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel in Belen, NM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Maria Ana Carrasco; son, Wilfred Carrasco (Cynthia Storey) of Tome, NM; daughters, Camilann Baca (De Leon) of Pueblo, CO, and Darlene Pino (Richard) of George Town TX. Wilfred is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Anselmo and Rebecca Sandoval Carrasco; children, Levina Padilla, Tirsa Godfrey, and Mark Carrasco.
He was a member of The United States Marine Corps, Born Again Followers of Jesus Christ and a pastor of Raton House of Prayer. Wilfred was a founder of Vision Ministries in Farmington, NM, former owner of W. Carrasco & Son Cement Contractor. He was a life long lover of enchiladas, burnt potatoes, red chili and the Denver Broncos.
