Victor Herrera born December 23,1953 in Tosanachi Mexico to Bonifacio Herrera and Laura Dominguez.
Victor passed away peacefully on Christmas Day with his children by his side.
He is now eternally reunited with his parents, his sweetheart Virginia Sandoval, sisters- Ema Herrera, and Josephina Herrera, and brothers- Esteban Herrera, and Angel Herrera.
He is survived by his sister Rosa Herrera,
his children: Nadine (Gama) Villegas, Victor ( Jennifer) Herrera, Hector ( Morgan ) Herrera, and Laura ( Matthew) Lovato.
9 granddaughters – Hannah, Gabby, Alaina, Metzli, Amelia, Presley, Madelina, Aubriella, Cheyanne. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Victor was an intelligent man, who created a legacy for generations to come. He studied at Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua majoring in Agricultural Engineering before making his journey to the United States in hopes of a better future. Victor set goals and accomplished many. He became a citizen of the United States in 1999. He was a hardworking, devoted man and held various job titles. His favorite job was working for Dochter Lumber for 20+ years.
Victor loved working on his yard, he always had beautiful green grass followed by a fresh cut. If he wasn’t working on the yard, he would be found at the one place he loved. his second home… the Horse Races, he loved horses and was so fascinated with the sport; that was his passion.
Victor enjoyed attending festivities and loved going to dances. Victor was occupied almost every weekend doing something he loved, he lived an exciting life. He loved to listen to music with friends and reminisce about his life in Mexico.
He was just a young man, Brave and Courageous with a dream at a better life in the United States and he accomplished just that. He will truly be missed by everyone as he was a wonderful father, loving grandpa, humble and friendly man who left an impression on everyone he met.

Visitation at Comi Funeral Home 3:00-5:00 pm followed by a Rosary @ 6:00 pm

Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church 10:00 am with burial service to follow.
