Mr. George Joseph Anselmo, affectionately known as Georgie, passed in peace from this life early on Thursday morning, December 14, 2023, at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home He was 76.
He was born in Trinidad Colorado on December 28, 1947, the son of Louis and Roberta Anselmo.
Georgie was a lifelong resident of Trinidad and an active member of his community at the nursing home.
He was a man of faith and a follower of God. Georgie enjoyed mathematics, poetry, singing, and coloring.
His curiosity, humor, zest of life, and the tremendous affection he showed for his loved ones will never be forgotten. Georgie will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Louis and Roberta Anselmo.

Sister, Elsie E. (Steven) Hargrove of Trinidad, CO, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews Robert “Bobby” Pitts, Denver, CO., Sheila Marie Hart, New Jersey, Lisa Kathleen Ivany Trinidad, CO, Matthew Steven (Andrea) Hargrove,Astoria, Oregon and Ashley Hargrove , Prescott Arizona.
Also surviving are great nieces and great nephews, Alexis Hart, Ryan Hart, Eden Ivany , Joshua Ivany, Nalia Hargrove, Sophia Hargrove, and his extended family and caregivers at the Trinidad Inn.Arrangements are pending, the date and time to be announced later by the Comi Funeral Home
