Florida (Ida) Linda Sandoval
Florida Linda Sandoval, age 94, went home to be with Jesus on December 5, 2023.
She was born on January 21, 1929, in Trinchera, Colorado to Selzo J. Sandoval and Socorrito (Romero) Sandoval. She moved from Trinchera to Trinidad when she was young, where she resided until her passing.
Ida enjoyed playing cards, watching TV game shows, loved the Colorado Rockies baseball team and enjoyed holidays with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Selzo J. Sandoval and Socorrito (Romero) Sandoval and brother Andrew M. Sandoval, sister-in-law Oralia (Martinez) Sandoval; sisters Clorinda (Cora) (Sandoval) Sanchez, brother-n-law Eusebio Sanchez and Lucy (Sandoval) Garcia, brother-in-law Ben Garcia.
Among her survivors is her niece Lena (Sandoval) Serna (†Carl) and Anita (Sandoval) Tapia (†Pete) whom she raised; her special niece Diana (Garcia) Nunez (†Ray); and numerous other nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Services for Ida will be at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 18, at 10 a.m. with Father Sebastian presiding. Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery Ceremony with a graveside service. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
