In Loving Memory of Margaret (Lil Margie Tokar-Fodor)

Born on July 19, 1942, to John and Ann Tokar, Margaret (Lil Margie Tokar-Fodor) grew up in
Gulnare, Colorado with her two brothers Joe and Don. At the age of 17, Marge married John
Fodor on June 11, 1960. After their marriage, Marge moved into the Fodor Ranch in Trujillo
Creek is a whopping two miles away as the crow flies. John and Marge had two children, Beverly
and John. Marge and John remained married until John’s passing on March 31, 2007. After his
passing, Marge lived alone on the ranch for another 16 years keeping the bears and mountain lions
away by whatever means necessary. Marge loved dancing on Saturday nights and dominos on
Tuesdays at the Spanish Peaks Inn with her many friends. Marge’s green chili was “The Best
You Could Find Anywhere”. Marge took her recipe with her on November 7, 2023. Marge is
survived by her Daughter Beverly (John) and her son John (Tiffany). In lieu of flowers and cards,
Marge wished for donations to be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
