In Loving Memory of Jo Ellen Berry

It is with great sadness that her family reports that Jo Ellen Berry passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 4th, 2023 in the family home in Surprise Arizona.  She was born on August 26th in Durango Colorado. In her teens she traveled all over Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. She was a mother, grandmother, aunt, student, and business owner. One thing she was very proud of was working to take care of birth certificates at a hospital in Phoenix. She loved getting to meet all the new babies. Jo Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy, and her husband Jim. She is survived by her children David, Shawn, and Katye, as well as her sister Thelma. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed. The family is planning a private celebration of life.
