In Loving Memory of Dorthy M. Shoemaker

Dorthy M. Shoemaker, 69, from Des Moines, NM, was called home to be with Our Lord on October 31, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Shoemaker, grandchildren Michael and Brianna Vigil, great-grandson, Noah, her sister, Helen Suazo, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Elsie Montoya, her daughter Dolene Montoya, grandson Anthony Vigil, and other family members. Dorthy was born July 24, 1954, in Raton, NM. She grew up in Des Moines, NM where she graduated high school in 1973. She lived life to the fullest and went on to do other things. Later on, she worked at Arthur Johnson Memorial Library in Raton for 13 years when she retired and she was a bowler for many years. She was residing in Greeley, CO with her daughter and grandchildren. She passed away at UC Hospital with family by her side. Services pending to be set in the Spring.
