Reference: Colfax County Solid Waste Update
We have learned that two of the contractor trash trucks were out of service this weekend. Tri State is utilizing a backup truck that was brought in from Texline, TX and one of the trucks that was down has been repaired and is now in service.
- Tri State is working in the Raton and Surrounding areas now. Because of the amount of solid waste this will take two days.
- Ute Park is scheduled for tomorrow.
Tri State
- The County Manager has requested Tri State leadership to attend the Commission meeting on August 22, 2023, to advise the Commission on what went wrong and what steps will be taken to assure standardized solid waste operations throughout Colfax County in the Future.
- Colfax County Citizens are encouraged to attend this meeting and express their concerns.
