Marie, age 80, passed away peacefully with her son by her side in Thornton, Colorado on March 23 after years of battling Alzheimer’s disease.
Marie was born on November 4, 1942, to Jim and Rose Trujillo in Sopris, Colorado.
Marie devoted her life to helping others, as she spent her career in the customer service industry working as a front-end manager for Safeway and King Soopers for over fifty years. Marie loved God and her Family. She attended, and volunteered for, her church on a regular basis and on a daily basis after she retired. She enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds, always making something spectacular out of nothing. She cherished spending time with all her brothers, sisters, kids, grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Especially on Thanksgiving.
You’ll spend a lifetime looking for someone as special as Marie. If you knew her you were truly blessed to call her Mom, Grandma, Auntie, Sister, or Friend. Her light now shines down on all of us Forever. She will be missed dearly by many.
She had two children: Mark Arguello (Melissa Herrera Garcia) and Sandy (Greg) Wold (both deceased).
Four grandchildren: Seth (Jennifer) Arguello, Jason Wold, Amber Wold, and Brooks (Claire) Arguello. Three great-grandchildren: Meckenzie, Bentley, and Blake along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her sisters: Irene (Paul) Vickles, Bea (Joe-deceased) Lovato, and Therese (Dale) Megargee.
Her brothers: Bob (Rosemarie-deceased) Trujillo, Ralph (Clara) Trujillo (both deceased), Rick Trujillo (deceased), Tony (Carrie -deceased) Trujillo, and Jim Trujillo.
