Maria Marcelina “Martha” Sisneros

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 17, 2023, and Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated after the Rosary at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with Fr. Benoit Trieu Van Vu as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Maria Marcelina “Martha” Sisneros was born on October 5, 1934, Juan Sisneros and Tomacita (Archuleta) Sisneros. She was born in Rodriguez Canyon and made her home in Clayton, New Mexico for 85 years of her life. She was a homemaker, a caregiver, and a housekeeper. Martha raised 7 sons, Larry Sisneros, Edward Sisneros, Daniel Trujillo, Vince Sisneros, Floyd Sisneros, Alfred Sisneros and Martin Sisneros. Martha had a big Heart and never meet a stranger. Her family and friends meant everything to her. Martha enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Ladies Altar Society. Martha was proceeded in death by her parents Juan Sisneros and Tomacita (Archuleta) Sisneros, three brothers Paul Sisneros, Gilbert Sisneros, and Juan Sisneros, two sisters Cornelia Martinez and Ernestine Trujillo and an infant brother Paul Gilbert and infant sister Inasita. Martha will be dearly missed and held in our hearts forever.

7 SONS: Larry Sisneros and his wife Rowena of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Edward Sisneros and his wife Cathleen of Clayton, New Mexico, Daniel “Milo” Trujillo of Clayton, New Mexico, Vince Sisneros of Denver, Colorado, Floyd Sisneros and his wife Olivia of Hobbs, New Mexico, Alfred Sisneros and his wife Annette of Clayton, New Mexico, and Martin Sisneros and his wife Diana of Aurora, Colorado.
1 BROTHER: George Sisneros and his wife Eloise of Aztec, New Mexico.
1 SISTER: Beatrice Maynes of Clayton, New Mexico.
10 Grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
