Karl Michael Sarlund, JR. was called home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. A devoted man of God, Karl’s greatest joy in life were his children and grandchildren. Karl enjoyed being a long-time resident of Aguilar, CO where he was free to give motorcycle rides and lessons to his grandchildren. Karl was an avid lover of the outdoors and never passed up the opportunity to grab a cup of coffee or ”mud” as he would say. Karl was a kind-hearted soul who was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all.
Karl is preceded in death by his father Karl Sarlund Sr. Karl is survived by his mother Leatha Sarlund, brother Robert Sarlund, his lifetime friend and wife of 23 years Alice Sarlund, his four daughters, Gabrielle Vigil, Joy Gonzales, Kandi Gonzales, Maria Flores, and numerous grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, April 7th at 3:30 pm at the Presbyterian Church in Aguilar located at 309 S Romero Rd. Services are open to all who loved and cared for Karl. A small dinner will follow for all who would like to join.
