Ann Sacco, age 91, passed away on March 7, 2023, in Pueblo, Colorado. Ann was born in Jorosa, Colorado on August 19, 1931, to Michael and Josephine Cernoia.
After graduating high school from Holy Trinity, Ann went to work for Associates in Trinidad, Colorado where she worked for 30 years before retiring. Ann enjoyed tending to her rose garden and record-keeping for the dairy farm. On June 5, 1954, she was united in marriage to ralph Sacco at Holy Trinity Church in Trinidad, and were married for 60 years. During this time together they owned and operated Sacco Dairy in Hoehne until 1996. Ann was also a member of the Hoehne Catholic Church Alter Society.
Preceding her in death are her parents Michael and Josephine Cernoia, husband Ralph Sacco, som- in law BillBarrett, granddaughter Susan Barrett, step-grandson Billy Barrett, sister Mary (Charles) Grando, sister Jean (Oliver) Cunico, brother Joe (Mildred)Cernoia, sister Vera (Denni) Walters, and brother Lawrence (Francis) Cernoia.
Ann is survived by daughter Sharon Barrett, Trinidad, grandsons Michael Barrett, Denver, Daniel Barrett (Bre David), Pueblo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Comi Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023, with the Rosary at 9:00 am at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Holy trinity catholic Church.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Lawrence Cernoia Jr., Michael Cernoia, Colton Vialpando, Dale Galich, Robert Philpott, and Brandon Salapich.
Arrangements are made under the direction of Comi Funeral Home.
