David William Brown

David William Brown age 66 passed away on January 19th, 2023 with his two sons and brother by his side. David was born June 9th, 1956 to Wesley and Betty Brown in Raton, New Mexico
David is preceded in death by his infant brother and sister John and Debra Brown, son Ernie Downtown Brown, and nephews Keith and Cole Brown.
David is survived by his parents Wesley Brown Sr. and Betty of Raton, New Mexico. Brothers Wesley Brown Jr. and wife Theo of Bloomfield, New Mexico, and Walter Brown of Raton, New Mexico. Sons Warren Brown and girlfriend Jennie Gates and John Brown and wife Lynda. One granddaughter Ivy Rain Brown and two step-grandchildren Sapphire and Eric Acevedo, and the mother of David’s children Beverly Baca all of Raton, New Mexico. Also, numerous relatives and friends survived.
David worked for Colfax County in the Road Department starting at the age of 18 for approximately 16 years, with several jobs in between including The T.O. Ranch, The Village of Eagle Nest, and a Heavy equipment operator in Colorado Springs. David finished up doing odd jobs for a couple of friends in Aguilar Colorado helping them with cattle, fencing, and just whatever they needed done.
David enjoyed going Dancing and having fun with his brother and friends in Aguilar whenever there was a dance.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home with E.J. Johnson officiating.
