Mary Ann (Herrera) Martinez passed away peacefully November 4, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 75. She was born in Raton, New Mexico on January 28, 1947.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, 2022 with Rosary at 11:00 am followed by the Funeral Mass at St Patrick’s/St Joseph’s Church in Raton. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Andres & Mary Margret Herrera; sister Vickie Ford, grandson Tyler, great granddaughters Catalina & Evalynn and The father of her children Richard “Lefty” Martinez and by brother-in-law Leroy Valerio.
She is survived by her children; Stacy & Anthony Sandoval, Richard Martinez, James Martinez, Sherri & husbandTito Sanchez. Grandchildren; Marc, Carlos & Jaimie, Ava & Jose, Ross & Nikki, Jessica & Kevin, Toni & Ben, Race, Reid, MaryAnn, Rebecca & Jeremiah. Great-grandchildren: Xavior, Ezra, Isla & Damian. Siblings: Carmen Valerio, Charles & Liz Herrera, Melinda & Phillip Martinez, Sarah Roth. Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins.
