Andrew Laumbach, age 63, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Clayton, New Mexico.

A viewing will be on Thursday, September 22nd at Hass Funeral Home in Clayton.

Services will be held on Friday, September 23rd at Holy Family St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Roy, New Mexico. A viewing will be from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Fr. Chris Martinez as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Laumbach Cemetery South of Roy, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Andrew Laumbach was born on March 14, 1959, in Roy, New Mexico to Alfred Conrad Laumbach, Sr. and Eleanor Maria (DeHerrera) Laumbach. He grew up in Roy and graduated from Roy High School in 1977. He attended school at TSTI and worked in construction for a few years before going to Radiology school in west Texas. He then worked as a radiologist at hospitals in Dallas, Texas for several years and then moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital for several years. He later returned to New Mexico and worked briefly at a hospital in Santa Fe and then moved to Clayton where he worked as a radiologist at Union County General Hospital. Andrew was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton and the Knights of Columbus. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother and father by a brother; Alfred Laumbach, 2 sisters; Francis Chavez and Petra Laumbach and a sister-in-law; Lillian Laumbach.

SURVIVORS:

4 SISTERS: Lucille Gonzales of Amarillo, Texas, Christina Laumbach of New Zealand, Elizabeth Trujillo and her husband Joseph of Taos, New Mexico, and Rose Monreal and her husband Steve of Sterling City, Texas.

4 BROTHERS: Ralph Laumbach and his wife Liz of Portales, New Mexico, Enrique Laumbach and his wife Mary and Pedro Laumbach all of Roy, New Mexico, and Michael Laumbach and his wife Sharla of Amistad, New Mexico.

And numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
