In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Betty Ramirez

Elizabeth Betty Ramirez went to rest on July 22, 2022.  She was born in Trinidad, Colorado to Joaquin and Fermina Ramirez on April 22, 1951.  She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Lujan (Chad Marquez); granddaughter Makalia; great-grandsons Jaydin, Malakai, and Isaac; stepson Anthony Apodaca; brothers Wayne (Cheryl) Sambrano, José Juan “Ramsey” Ramirez; sister Rose Armijo; and sisters-in-law, Josephine Ramirez, and Gloria Sambrano. She was preceded in death by Anthony “Wolf” Gonzales; parents, Joaquin and Fermina; and brothers Arthur Ramirez, James Sambrano, Fred Ramirez, Joseph Sambrano, Joaquin “Junior” Ramirez, and Augustine Ramirez.

 

Betty was a skilled meat cutter and cook. For decades, she worked loyally for the Ringo family at both the Trinidad and Segundo stores.  She provided catering services for years, serving the people of Trinidad well into her retirement.  Betty was known for her delicious food, including her breakfast burritos! She also provided elder care for several years. Betty was especially known for her joy of life, her wonderful laugh, and her giving and loving spirit.

 

She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.  She was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her.

 

The family can be reached at 718 Stonewall Street.  A bank account is set up at the First National Bank for monetary offerings.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, at Holt Trinity Church, with rosary at 12:30 PM followed by the Funeral Mass at 1 PM. Private inurnment at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Comi Funeral Home
