Emmanuel (Mike) P. Christos passed away at home on June 8th, 2022. Mike was the eldest son of Pete and Mary Christos (deceased). He is survived by his wife Jean Ann Scarafiotti Christos. Mike’s family includes a brother, Jack Christos, his wife Carolyn of Denver, Colorado, and a sister Georgia Zachos of Alabama. His family included two nephews, Alexander and Pete, and a niece Evan. Mike had two great nephews and a great niece. Plus a slew of cousins
Mike was born at Fort Hood, Texas. He graduated from high school in Trinidad, Colorado in 1969. He attended Adam’s State University and received a Bachelor of Art in Education in 1973. He minored in French and German and spoke Spanish and Greek fluently. Mike also received an associate’s degree in computer technology.
In 1993 Mike married Jean Ann Scarafiotti and they were married just shy of 29 years.
Mike was an active member of the Elks Club. He earned member of the year in 2006 and Officer of the year in 2008. Mike organized and managed the Gaming for the Elks Club in his later years. Mike was a great cook and regularly cooked for the Elks lodge. He also baked bread for the Sweet Shoppe in Raton.

We were so saddened to hear about Mike he was a wonderful person. Always willing to help you out in any way he could. I will greatly miss him. Bless his wife Jean and his family, you are all in our prayers. RIP Mike
