Theresa “Terri” Romero, age 65, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022, in Rio Rancho, NM. Terri was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 30, 1957, to John Lee and Neva Thomas.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter Brandy Comins and husband James, son Joshua Romero, sister Brenda Cochran and husband Leonard, sister Linda and husband Matt, brother Richard Lee Thomas and wife Sharon, grandson Ryan Thomas, granddaughter Bianca Romero, Aunt Donna Maddaleni, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terri was a long-time resident of Raton. She worked in sales and always enjoyed helping customers. She is known for her kindness, love of food, and all things chocolate. Her joys in life were reading, crocheting, playing games, and spending time with family. She always wanted to travel and go places she had never been before. Now is your time to travel Mama.

No funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a celebration of life will take place.
