Melissa Nicole Binder (34) of Raton NM passed away on January 30, 2022, in an automobile accident in Trinidad, CO.
She is survived by her fiancé Farren Greathouse, her parents Dawn Salyards(Joseph Grantham); Kevin Binder(Lynn); her sister Christina Peterson(Brandon); her stepbrother John Grantham, her beautiful children Ava, Styles, and Isabella; her grandparents Willard and Ginger Burch, Theresa Beinemann, Patricia Picard; her niece and nephew Brook and Tanner Justi and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Melissa was born in Longmont, CO. on Feb. 1, 1987. She earned her GED and attended Trinidad Community College. She was a cook at Rino’s restaurant and very much enjoyed working there. She was a member of the Mesa Church in Raton NM.
Melissa adored being a mother. She was kind and fun-loving. She had artistic talents and was very creative. She loved animals, music, scary movies, and sweets. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 1 pm at Comi Funeral Home, 1804 East Main St. Trinidad, CO. 81082
Pastor Josh Duran will officiate.
