In Loving Memory of Myrtle Mae Fanelli (UPDATE)

Myrtle Mae Fanelli age 73 of Raton, New Mexico. She was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mae was born June 28, 1947, in Raton, New Mexico to Marcos and Susan Jiron.Mae loved to go to the racetrack in her past life. She loved watching her Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR racing, she loved to dance and always laughed and listened to her Spanish music. Her children were her life, she loved her great granddaughter Myaah, her face lit up every time she walked into the room, she was center of attention.Mae is preceded in death by her parents Marcos and Susan Jiron, sisters Marcella and Francis. Brothers Johnny, Jessie, Marquito & Dickie Jiron, her first husband John Raught and second husband Tony Fanelli. Mae is survived by her stepmother Mary Jiron of Raton New Mexico her children William and Sheila Raught of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joni Mae and Ross Sisneros of Center, Colorado, Brenda and Milton Medina of Raton, New Mexico, Valerie and Garrick Lopez of Maxwell, New Mexico, Florinda Fanelli of Raton New Mexico. Her stepchildren Ralph Fanelli and family of Raton, New Mexico, David and Lori Fanelli and family of Amarillo Texas, Michael and Sandy Fanelli and family of Raton New Mexico, her brother Abel Jiron of Raton New Mexico, Fidel and Candace of Oceanside California. Sisters Dela Horner a Cimarron New Mexico, Stephanie Jones of Raton New Mexico, half-brother Jerry & Jessica Jiron of Raton New Mexico, half-sister Marcella and Jeffrey Busby of Terrell, Texas. She has 13 beloved grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of Friends.

Services for Myrtle Mae Fanelli will take place on May 7, 2022 in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home at 10 am with Pastor Josh Duran Officiating. Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow immediately at Mt. Calvery Cemetary.
