Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center Launches Community Perks

TRINIDAD, Colo., Dec. 23, 2021 – Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center and its new downtown location, Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens, announce the launch of Community Perks, a community-focused discount program built for the benefit of local businesses and community-member savings. The Community Perks program is available to individuals, families and businesses by becoming a supporter of the nonprofit.

With four membership levels to choose from, supporters enjoy discounts and special offers from a growing list of over 20 participating businesses, comprising of Phil Long Toyota, La Quinta, The Wing Pit, Club 14 Garden Grill and Pub, Colie’s Cakes & Pastries, Main Street Liquors, Trinidad Smokehouse, The Art Cottage, M&M Repair & Towing, Curly’s Beads, Raye Naturopathic, Face Forward Aesthetics, Purgatoire River Trading Company, Santa Fe Trail Hops & Vines, SRG Landscaping Supply, Tutti Scoops, Tequila’s Family Mexican Restaurant, Trinidad Greenhouse, Trinidad Golf Course, Tees Me Treat Me and TJ’s Mechanical.

Participating businesses in the discount program receive promotion and advertising on various marketing platforms, while also strengthening customer and community relationships.

Along with Community Perks, members receive benefits at both locations, including exclusive invitations to events, early registration for classes, supporter recognition, and no charge or discounts on fee-based classes and venue rentals, as well as a personalized brick and daily access to the Gardens. One-day Zen Garden passes are also available.

Starting January 1, 2022, the private Gardens will be open to the public for Wellness Wednesdays from 9am – 5pm, providing locals and travelers alike a place for serenity, wellness walks, physical activity and spiritual reflection.

In July, 2021, Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center expanded into downtown Trinidad with the opening of Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens.  The Garden’s mission is to bring the community together through wellness programs and events that promote healthy living and nurture mind, body and spirit while supporting the local business community.
