Bert Lloyd, 90, and Lola Lloyd 85, of Springer, N.M. passed away on November 24, 2021. Bert was born to William T. and Ruby (Miller) Lloyd on May 11, 1931, in Abbott, New Mexico. Lola was born to Earl and Jessie (Driver) Carter on December 27, 1935, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. They are survived by son David, daughters Judy (Dennis), Kathy (Rowe), and Donna; grandchildren Cynthia (James), Cheryl, Christy (Sean), Jamie (Jaime), Kelsey, Jessica, Ashton (Brittany), Jerrah, and Antonio; great-grandchildren Adrianna (Christopher), Michelle, Nathan, Faith, Madison, Gracie, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Joshua, Garrett, Reid, Addison and Peighton; and great-great-grandchildren Logan, Jase, and Avery. Lola is survived by her sister Carolyn (Royce) and her brother Robert. Bert was a military veteran, artist, preacher, musician, historian, teacher, and retired from the State of New Mexico where he worked as a construction inspector. Lola was a nurse for over forty years and a weaver, who had a nurturing spirit and cared deeply for her patients, her friends, and, most importantly, her family. She had so much love in her, and every ounce of that love could be felt in her hugs. They were devoted followers of Jesus Christ and poured their hearts into their church. They will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them. A memorial service is planned for Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 at First Baptist Church, 920 4th St., Springer, N.M.
