In Loving Memory of Loretta Jean Deherrera

Loretta Jean Deherrera,At the age of 65 was called to heaven on the evening of Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born in Raton New Mexico July 1, 1956 to her parents Richard Salas and Rita Montoya. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Rita Montoya, Andres Montoya, Francis “KiKa” Salas and Rumaldo Salas. Three siblings and one loving grandson Billy Vanderwater who she lost last year on August 30th, 2020. 

She leaves behind her two children. Daughter Diane Vanderwater (Larry McCord) and Son John Deherrera (Kathryn Gardner). 
Her nine grandchildren Cynthia Lopez, Addison Deherrera, Aden Vanderwater, Aidan Liles, Jonathan Deherrera, Alyssa Liles, Justin McCord, Ryan Mccord and Zadyn Deherrera.  

She has three great grandchildren, Issac Segura, Isaiah Segura and Izabella Lopez. 
Her surviving siblings Richard Salas, Cheryl Samora, Rita Pacheco, Salia Salas, George Salas, and Lino Salas.

Loretta was a beautiful loving soul with a heart that was always welcoming. Her children and grandchildren were her everything and spending time with her family was a passion. She always enjoyed cooking, listening to music, fishing and anything family oriented. She loved Betty Boop, butterflies, antiques and anything colorful or unique that caught her eye she adored. She was in fact a colorful unique person and will always be remembered for the warm heart and love she has instilled within all of her family. Her mark will forever be remembered in this lifetime. Rest In Peace Nana. We love you a bushel and a peck.
