Rody Mack Qualifies for National Junior High Finals Rodeo

Rody Mack of Raton is a member of the NM Junior High Rodeo Association and has participated in all of the spring rodeos held by the NMJHRA.  As a 6th grader,  he qualified and participated in the NM Junior High and High School Finals Rodeo in Lovington, NM, held May 27th thru May 31st.

Mack participated in the events of Breakaway Roping, Ribbon Roping, Tie-down Calf Roping, Goat Tying, Chute Dogging, and Light Rifle.  He finished the year in 4th place in Light Rifle and 4th place in Chute Dogging, which qualified him to represent Raton on Team NM at the upcoming National Junior High Finals Rodeo in Des Moines, Iowa June 20th thru June 26th.

Rody is the son of Wes and Melissa Mack and the grandson of Bob Mack and Mike and Sally Lemons.
