Pauline Raught, 78, Resident of Santa Fe, NM Passed away on May 13, 2021 she was born on November 29, 1942 in Capulin, NM to Eutimia and Lewis Martinez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Lewis and Eutimia Martinez, husband; John Raught, sons; Gilbert Martinez, Robert Montoya, and Shawn Montoya, sisters; Molly Ortiz, Lillian Archuleta and Charlene Winn, brother; Lewis Martinez Jr.
She is survived by her sons; Guy Montoya, Archie Martinez (Deborah), daughter; Starla Raught (Javier), step children; William Raught (Sheila), Joni Mae Cisneros (Ross), Brenda Medina (Milton), Valerie Raught, sisters; Stella Sintas, Earlene Le Doux, Marion Rodriguez, brother; Dickie Martinez, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pauline lived and raised her children in Raton, NM for many years until she and John moved to Santa Fe, NM in 1990 to manage the Luxury Inn and retired in 2005. Her health started to deteriorate in 2016 but that never kept her down. She was always laughing, smiling and joking no matter how she was feeling. Pauline was known for her fun, loving and caring nature and always made everyone feel welcomed. She was like a second mom to many and enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and always had a delicious meal cooked for everyone to enjoy. Her favorite pastime was listening to music, cooking, dancing, going to the casino, playing on her phone and spending quality time with her great grandchildren that she adored and shared a special bond with Mayeli and Yanisel Ruiz-Montoya. She will be greatly missed by all.
Friends and Family of Pauline Raught; On Friday August 13, 2021 a Rosary will be recited at 9:30am & Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church, 11 College Dr. Santa Fe, NM. Followed by a Celebration of her life 12:00pm at The Fraternal Order of Eagles 833 Early Street, Santa Fe NM.
Pauline was a wonderful , beautiful person that will be dearly missed. She loved and treated everyone with kindness, was a strong and happy person. My condolences to her family and friends.
